The people of Lesotho are called Basotho. Their traditional clothing is the Basotho blanket. Versions of the Basotho tribal blanket are worn in everyday life by herd boys, grannies and children to keep them warm. Lesotho is the only nation south of the Sahara that identifies the culture of an entire country through a nationalistic article of clothing like the Basotho blanket.
