COP27 - the real heroes

Every year the whole world is gathering at the United Nations Climate Change Conference or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, more commonly referred to as COP. This year was the 27th conference, held from November 6 until November 20, 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. 

As every year world leaders get together to make decisions for the future of our planet. It attracts climate activists, but also media from all over the world to document these two important weeks. But no attention is given to the people who make these events possible. During the climate conference negotiations between the countries take place day and night. And so the cleaners and security people are working non-stop during this period. Also, it's 40 degrees Celcius outside. While no media is giving them any attention they do it with a smile. I think they are the real heroes.
